While true synchronization with Pocket PC devices is not currently available with Ultra Recall, several methods of putting Ultra Recall data on a Pocket PC device are available:
1) As files: If you have Microsoft ActiveSync installed, and have file synchronization configured, you can export some or all of your Ultra Recall data to files in your synchronization folder, then synchronize your Pocket PC.
a) Click Files | Export
b) Choose Documents and rich item text to folder, click Next
c) Enter or browse to the synchronization folder configured for your Pocket PC, then optionally choose Export Child Items (recursive), click Finish
d) Synchronize your Pocket PC (using Microsoft ActiveSync).
2) As a spreadsheet (if you have Pocket Excel installed):
a) Click Files | Export
b) Choose Item Attributes to a delimited (CSV) text file, click Next
c) Choose the desired export attributes
- Ensure the Export attribute names as first row checkbox is checked, click Next
d) Enter or browse to an appropriate location (for an intermediate csv file location), then optionally choose Export Child Items (recursive)
- Ensure the Open Explorer window after export is checked, click Finish
d) in the now open Explorer window, double-click on the created CSV file in Excel
e) in Excel, Save As as an Excel file in the synchronization folder for your Pocket PC.
