Kevin, I wonder if it would be possible to have a date insert for the tree? Ideally, this would allow the option of date, time, or date and time.

It would be helpful in using the Journal template.

Thanks.

You can currently insert a new item titled with the date via the Calendar dialog (Alt+C), then Copy & Paste (Enter).

I am aware of that. However, that is an awkward way to do what should be, and is in other programs, a one step procoess.

It would be good if, for example, every time a new item is put in place, there is an option that it automatically set the date, or a date and time. There could also be a drop-down menu offering variations of date and time, such that one click gives you the date/time formate appropriate for a particular item.

Also, I have downloaded the UR journal template, and there is much that I like about it. What is disappointing is that one has to manually put in the date. For a journal, in which I might make more than one entry in a day, I would appreciate having the date and time appear automatically with each new entry.

If the American dating system is used, ie. month/day/year I would also hope that URR could sort in chronological, rather than numerical, order.

One approach might be to have alt-z work in the tree.

We are investigating the requested functionality, which is on our todo list. It is currently being considered inclusing in Ultra Recall version 1.5.

Kevin, thanks. That's good news.
