Hi all,
With the new portable version, Ultrarecall really becomes one of my favorite mobile applications. Is there any development or possibility to use it on a tablet PC combined with digital ink technology? I believe many would prefer to keep their notes in Ultrarecall than in OneNote, for instance...
Best regards,
Edmond

At the moment, I think the best available solution is to use RitePen to enter text into UR. This gives you the advantages of UR's search tools, because it is dealing with text, and the ability to enter the text without having to deal with the built in TIP box that takes up valuable space.

In addition to using RitePen at times, there are a couple of other approaches I have taken. One is creating a template with an embedded ink OLE object so the ink notes show up in the Item Details pane, as described here:

The other approach is to make a template out of a Windows Journal document, and then when you want to add handwritten notes, you insert a child based on the Windows Journal template, then open that document for editing (will open in Windows Journal). You don't see the notes in the Item Details pane but you get all the editing functionality of Windows Journal.
I haven't found a way to embed a Windows Journal document as an OLE object yet. That would combine the best of both worlds but not sure that it is possible.
