with the latest V2 of UR, importing a web page from Firefox via Launchy (I used the copy command provided in the XML script, at: http://www.kinook.com/Forum/showthread.php?threadid=1336
doesn't work, and causes an access violation too...
Is this because the Launchy XML is wrong for V2 - or is it because there are some general errors with importing in V2, as I and others have experienced repeated access violations using V2?

We have not yet been able to reproduce any such import problems. The launchy.xml from the forum FAQ should work unchange in v2 (and does in our tests). Please ZIP and post or send:
1) The info from Help | About | Install Info
2) The version of Firefox and Launchy you're running
3) Your launchy.xml file.
4) The exact steps to reproduce (URL of a page where this occurs, how you imported, etc.)

I have no problems with launchy firefox and UR 2, and I have imported in the last days about 0,8 GB

I just tried using Launchy to Copy (Open in UltraRecall Copy) the web page of THIS THREAD - i.e.:
http://www.kinook.com/Forum/showthread.php?postid=5661#post5661
and got exactly the same problem...

apologies - just noticed that the web pages are in fact copied (the access violations confused me I guess) - though these access violations are definitely happening and repeated...

Hmmm, so in your case it is a general import issue (you also mentioned Outlook) that occurs after successfully importing? Can you use RegEdit to export your registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Kinook Software\Ultra Recall", then ZIP and post or send that and all files at "C:\Documents and Settings\Ian Goldsmid\Application Data\Kinook Software\Ultra Recall" to support@kinook.com? Thanks.

registry key - will do
I just noticed that following the access violation the imported web page doesn't show up (in the Imported Items Folder) until I close and re-open the URD I copied the web page to
