psExec \\computer cmd /c mkdir "c:\testVBP"

I'm using the same command on Run Program for machine A and B. Machine A is Windows XP professional and machine B is Windows 2000 server. Machine A has psexec.exe in the system32 and the machine B has the whole PsTool package. The PsExec version on both machines is v1.72. I set "Read program output from" to "None". When I test this step, machine A has the build successfully completed. However, machine B has PxExec started but cmd command never ends and the output window keeps fleshing...

What should I do to fix the problem on machine B?

Thanks,

Machine A is where VBP is running and builds the Run Program step? I wouldn't expect any window to be displayed on Machine B in that case as a result of that step. Please post the info from Help | About | Install Info.

No. I'm running the Step and have the VBP installed on Machine C. However, Machine A also has VBP installed. Does that matter?

The following is the information from Machine C:

Windows Version: 5.1.2600.2.0
Install path: C:\Program Files\VisBuildPro6
SftTree_IX86_U_50.dll version 5.04
unins000.exe version 51.42.0.0
VisBuildCmd.exe version 6.1.0.0
VisBuildPro.exe version 6.1.0.0
VisBuildBld.dll version 6.1.0.1
VisBuildCore.dll version 6.1.0.0
VisBuildDotNET.dll version 6.1.0.2
VisBuildExt.dll version 6.1.0.2
VisBuildLog.dll version 6.1.0.0
VisBuildMisc.dll version 6.1.0.0
VisBuildMS.dll version 6.1.0.0
VisBuildMS2.dll version 6.1.0.0

VBP would not be involved on the remote box (even if installed). This appears to be a PsExec, not VBP, issue.
