I use Firefox as my main browser. I use lots of firefox extensions, one of which is almost "priceless" - Auto Copy.
When you select some text it is auto copied to the clipboard.
When you do an immense amount of copying and pasting this extension saves a tremendous amount of time and stress.
I would like to ask for an Auto Copy capability to be added to UltraRecall - and that it also works on internally viewed web pages.
Thanks...

another thought on auto copy:
I add many, many web pages to UltraRecall - links and saved copies. Much of the time, there is some text in the web page - like a persons name - that I want to use as the Item Title.
Therefore, it would be fantastic to have an UltraRecall "utility" whereby, I can set:
auto copy = yes
auto paste clipboard content as Item Title..
Any thoughts anyone?

I had to rename a large number of web pages yesterday and discovered that merely highlighting text and then pressing F2 changes the item title to the selection.

For text I use DragKing from

It copies anything highlighted to the clipboard, it can be turned on and off and its free, although by choice I have donated

Would you get the same result by selecting text & then <windows>+V into URp?

Good Catch!
Although this is mentioned in the help file (search on F2):
An Info Item can be quickly renamed to the selected text in the Item Details pane (for the Internal Browser Viewer, Rich Text Editor and Text Document Editor) or the Item Notes pane:
1. Select the text in the specified pane
2. Choose Rename Item on the right-click menu (Edit | Rename on the menu or F2).
you don't always put two and two together.
Although, this mentions working with the Internal Browser - which you've seen with web pages - it does not work with Word documents displayed in the Internal Browser.
Still this is a handy thing to remember.
Thanks.

Automatic clipboard capture is available in UR v4 by checking Tools | Options | Import | Automatically import clipboard changes (also available in Tools | Quick Options).
