item links show up in search?

I hadn't noticed this before but if, for example, I have an item set up as below:

item: pick up Rx "abcd" which is linked to:
name of Rx
name of pharmacy
name of perscribing doctor
begin date today

Search for begin date today & not flagged completed & the item shows up 3 times. Is that the way it's supposed to be? It's a bit confusing.

Do you have Parent Title or Lineage as one of the columns in this view? I think without those in search results, the item will only appear once.
