FEATURE REQUEST
It would be great if you could pipe the text field in the "quick search" into the Value field of the rules in a query. That would make it much easier to use a custom query.
OR (even better) allow Queries to have Forms associated with them.
This would also make things MUCH easier for a non techie user.
And for every techie user there may be 5 or 10 "non techie" users who *could* be using UR but would require 3 hours of training (more than the cost of the software)
E.g.,
Search for: __< type in project keyword>_
[Start] [Reset] [Copy] [Quick<<<]
(item) is Project
and (item) Keyword <Search for>
So, now when I bring up that Query... ALL I DO is type into the Search For (which is now enabled b/c it's being used).
USE CASE
- Custom queries are a little awkward. If I want to say, search for Projects, I need to create a custom Query and add a line to it for say "Search item for keyword ___". Then I need to call up that query, tab over to that search box, enter my text, hit return twice and ( this is the hard part) remember to clear it next time.
