Hello, I've a question related to read from a XML file using Visual Build Pro, I hope you can help me with the following:
I have an xml, suppose something like this:
<profile>
<version>
<server></server>
<server></server>
</version>
<version>
<server></server>
</version>
</profile>
In order to navigate the version, I have something like this:
vbld_TempMacros().Add "NODELIST", msxml.selectNodes("/profile/version")
To access the "server" node I use
vbld_TempMacros()
.Add "NODELISTSERVER", msxmlServer.selectNodes("/profile/version/server")
What I'm trying to do is, for each version, navigate its child nodes, however, at this moment I'm using the second line that I pasted, which retrives all the server nodes without take in consideration the parent (in this case "version")
In other words, I'd like to do something like the following if possible
vbld_TempMacros()
.Add "NODELISTSERVER", msxmlServer.selectNodes("/profile/version/server") WHERE VERSION = %VERSION%
Thanks in advance for your help
