Ultra Recall is a Windows-only application, but it is possible to run it on Linux or Mac OS X (for Macs with an Intel CPU):

1) Download and install VirtualBox (http://www.virtualbox.org/) (Linux or OS X, free) or VMware Workstation (https://www.vmware.com/products/workstation/features.html) (Linux), or VMware Fusion (http://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/) or Parallels Desktop for Mac (http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/) (OS X)

2) Create a virtual machine and install Windows and Ultra Recall in the VM guest

3) Start Ultra Recall in the guest VM and use seamless mode (VirtualBox), Unity (VMware), or Coherence (Parallels) to display the Ultra Recall window on the Linux or OS X desktop

When browsing on the Mac/Linux side, to import a web page into UR, copy the page URL and paste (Ctrl+Shift+V to store contents) into UR to import the document.
