View Full Version : Calendar display

The calendar seems to have a display problem. See the attached. First of all, the buttons are non-functional and misplaced. Second, when the pointer runs over the buttons, they are erased.
The calendar appears to work properly if it is sized to a single month.
This is on Windows Vista Business SP1.

The UR Calendar pane currently only supports single month display. We'll consider supporting multi-month mode in a future release.

Obviously not, because I can expand it to see several months at a time. I understand that you SHOULD use a single month display, but since you can diplay multiple months, shouldn't it draw correctly?

how did you achieve this? I always wished to be able to see more than one month ...

I think this is one of the "benefits" that come with using Vista. I could not do this in XP, but simply increasing the size of the window is enough to reveal the other months. There is more. You can zoom in and out to get an overview by month, year, or years. Don't be jealous though, because it is Vista and comes with some pitfalls. The most serious are mentioned by me at the beginning of this thread.

We've updated UR to support multi-month mode on Vista when resizing the Calendar pane (UltraRecall.exe 3.5.4.7 in Help | About | Install Info after updating).

Thank you very much!
Quant, maybe this is your excuse to, uh, "upgrade" to Vista. Or maybe not (if this is the only reason, believe me, don't do it).

I just tried it on XP Pro - no dice. I can increase the size of the Calendar window but it still shows only one month. Even though the overall Calendar window is larger the calendar itself stays the same size.
My notebook runs Vista Ultimate - I'll take a look there tomorrow.
Thanks!
