I have successfully signed several executables and tried the same process on an autoplay file we plan to ship on our CD's.
We contacted the company we acquired the software to build the autoplay menu and was told the following:
AutoPlay Menu Builder is built with Borland Delphi 7. There is overlay data append to autorun.exe, and perhaps the tool you used to digitally signing your menu doesn't support overlay data of executable files.
Does anyone have suggestions or ideas on if this can be signed?
The reason we decided to sign it is because Windows 7 popped up a warning that the publisher could not be verified.
Thanks
