Hi
I have some articles I keep in text files in the Windows file system.
These articles would be much easier to manage them in UR. However, I must have them in text format because other programs need to have access them.
Is it possible to bypass the UR database storage and use Windows text files instead? And also be able to edit those files outside UR and have the changes picked up by UR?
I looked through the help file and saw 'synchronization'. It said that if I create an item with a URL value, any child item I created could be made to be a Windows file if I selected synchronize. I spent an hour fiddling with it but it didn't work.
(As an aside, is there a way to make items change into a plain txt file on export, instead of an rtf file?)
Thanks.
