This has been a long standing issue for me. I am not sure if I commented on it years ago, but here it is.
If I am formatting a new item with a numbered list, then create a new item, the formatting carries over to the new item. This will also happen if I go to an existing item and start editing. I have to remember to turn off the numbered list before exiting the original item. I would think that going to another item or a new item would reset the formatting to that of the new or existing item.
On a related matter, I noticed that if I follow the above example and then go to a locked item, the numbered list appears. Because the item is locked, no further editing can be done and I have to unlock the item to remove the first number. I thought locked items were unalterable.
Thank you.
Jon
