I am having an issue using the Read Registry action to search through the uninstall keys for a particular application. I am using the 32-bit version of VBP and the particular application I am searching for is a 64-bit application, in this case the IIS URL Rewriter (not that this matters).

I am utilizing the search with +++++ to capture all entries under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uni nstall into the default macro. I am also checking the 'Access 64-bit registry view' option in this instance.

When I attempt to loop through the results macro, there is an entry with brackets [ ] in the key name resulting an error. This occurs even though I do not check the 'Do not escape special characters' option.

Am I missing the intent of the option here? Thanks as always for you assistance.

This is fixed in the latest download (VisBuildAct.dll 9.5.0.3 in Help | About after installing). You're welcome.
