Character limit for item title

I think this behavior is different from previous versions. When importing a string delimited txt into the current version (5.4.0.0), the number of characters in the item title is limited to 74. Has this changed? Can I adjust this? I would like the first line to be displayed or better yet, the first sentence.

It has always used the first line, up to 75 characters, for the title.

Thank you for your explanation. Just out of curiosity, is there a registry key that could be adjusted? Otherwise I am fine with highlighting what I need and hitting Shift + F2.

It is not currently configurable.
