I've been playing with multiple portable instances (well, 2) of URpro and internal linking.
I also used the internal linking to link to an item in another database.
I noticed that if I run an instance of the non-ur protocol registered EXE and internally link to an item in another (as yet unopened) database, an instance of the already running EXE opens (not the ur protocol registered EXE) and selects the linked-to item.
It's as though the path to UltraRecall.exe as specified in the ur protocol is not important as the running EXE will be used.
Is this how multiple portable instances is meant to work?
Note that I'm using multiple portable instances to work around the 6 layout limit.
