View Full Version : access violation when physical file moved

I had moved some files on my computer. When I opened an item in UR that referenced a moved file I got the error:

Error loading item detail view: Url not found
---------------------------

After pressing OK, I got:
---------------------------
Error loading item detail view: Access violation.
Exception 0xC0000005 occurred in module C:\Program Files\UltraRecall\UltraRecall.exe at address 0x2E0BF402, offset 0x0021F402.
---------------------------

After which I could continue to use the program.

I think this Access violation is a bug.

You are right, the Access Violation message is indicating a bug. Other than being annoying, it doesn't corrupt any data or cause other errors in the application.

This bug will be addressed in the next minor release of Ultra Recall.

Version 1.2a of Ultra Recall is available which eliminates this error message (as well as several other bug fixes and enhancements).
