odd error trying to drag and create logical link
 

I now get an error box "Error linking itme(s): near "SELECT": syntax error."

No logical linking seems to be permitted.

Any similar experiences?

fixed my own problem via reinstall

The problem then was because of a bug introduced into a new version. That might explain the problem you had.
