Uneditable Reminder?

Why is the Pending Reminder not editable?

The Pending Reminder attribute isn't directly editable. It's derived from the value of Begin Date, Reminder, etc.

Kinook,
As you can see, there is no Begin Date.

Hi $bill,
What do you mean by "misplacing your Begin Dates"?
Thanks for your help.

Except Task & Appointment items, it's tedious to create a reminder. At least, these Begin Date, Begin Time,.... must be manually inserted.

If the Begin Date attribute isn't in the database, try repairing (Tools | Compact & Repair).

To quickly create a reminder, use Item | Add Reminder (Ctrl+Shift+R default shortcut).

Yes, both work brilliantly. Thanks.

Does UR provide on-demand popup of Reminder dialog window? It seems to be impossible for 4.1.0.4. Neither is the Reminder user definable. For example, a user cannot set up a Reminder to be popped up at 09:00 am today. The popup time of any reminder is derived and controlled by UR.

There wouldn't be much point in popping up the Reminder dialog if there weren't any pending reminders, since the window would be empty.

To cause a reminder to display at 9:00 am, set the Begin Date to today, Begin Time to 9:00, and the Reminder to 0 minutes. The reminder will also display if it is after 9:00. Allow up to 1 minute for a pending reminder to display.

Sometimes users may wish to review/edit all pending reminders under a single Reminder dialog window

Yes, following exactly your steps, it works to my satisfaction. At least, UR gives us some sense that the Reminder popup timing can be defined and controlled by users. At least, using this method can indirectly and artificially force an immediate popup of the Reminder dialog window.
Thanks a lot, Kinook.
