Reading the version from a dll or exe
 

Is it possible to read the file version from a dll or exe file and store it in a macro? Can I do this in script?

Use this in the Set Macro action's Value field:

[vbld_FSO.GetFileVersion("c:\path\to\file.ext")]

or

[vbld_FSO.GetFileVersion("%MACRO_WITH_FILENAME%")]
