Preserve Build Selections within a Group
 

I with that VBP could preserve the individual build selections I've made within a Group (at least as an option). The current functionality is that checking a Group will check all items in that group; un-checking a Group will uncheck all items.

With this suggestion, the new functionality would disable items within the group, but keep the checks unchanged. Rechecking the parent group will re-enable all checks within the group and still leave the checked state unchanged.

I would find this very useful.

Hold down Shift when checking/unchecking a step to toggles the checkbox for only that step (and not any child steps).

I'm not following your second paragraph referring to disabling/enabling groups/checks. Can you describe that in more detail?

Given this tip to use Shift while checking, I'm good. Please disregard my second paragraph.
