Auto naming items
 

I may have missed this but is there a way of auto naming created items using the first line /or set number of characters from the first line when you save them a bit like word does?

Keyboard:
Ctrl+Home, Shift+End, Shift+F2

Mouse:
Select the text to use as the name (triple-click selects entire line)
Right-click and choose Rename Item

Should this work if am using word in UR as I have tried both methods you sugest and can not seem to do it

No, that will only work with the built-in RTF editor.
