I create a blank Word Doc and Excel Spreadsheet and copied them into my Templates folder in UR.

I then use the template files to create new Word & Excel file from within UR.

Is this a good idea???

Any potential problems???

That should work fine. It's also demonstrated in the Document Summary.urd sample.
