Metadata question

I have some mp3 tracks linked to UR and have set up Track Number as one of the attributes displayed in UR. I can change the Track Number within UR but it does not update the Track Number in the actual file. Synching makes no difference.

Can UR be used to change/update metadata?

No -- document summary information is currently only read/updated in UR when importing/syncing; attribute changes in UR are not synced/exported out to the file's summary properties.
