open office & URp

I use open office which mimics Microsoft, i.e. .doc, xls, etc yet it doesn't seem possible to view such files within URp.

Assuming my settings are right, why is this & can it be fixed?

I assume it's because OO cannot run embedded in IE, the requirement for file being shown inside UR
