spell checking on Vista Ultimate sick

Vista Ultimate sp1
NVidia GTX 280 w latest driver

With option check spelling as you type on, all words are underlined with squiggly lines reserved for mis-spelled words

When toggled it goes off

Then I looked at spelling options & I don't see any main dictionary selected or available. Hmmmm

Where is it?

I guess this could explain the above.

09:03 am update: found dictionary but spelling as I type not working. F7 does. Not sure replace/synonym working here either.
