Whole words search is active and grayed out
Hi,
When I want to do a quick search, the options show the Match whole words option as checked, and it is grayed out, meaning I can't de-select it. I checked the Options dialog - don't see any joy there for this. How do I remove the checkmark? Thanks. Regards, Bal |
With FTS enhancements enabled in the 4.1 beta,
Differences to be aware of: 1) Matching is now done on a whole word basis by default, and instead of specifying this option globally (by unchecking the Match whole words option), add a * to each word that should match partially (i.e., word*). 2) AND, OR, NOT, and NEAR must be capitalized to be treated as logical operators. |
I love it! Thank you - much, much better!
Minor Suggestion: remove the grayed out checkbox from the interface when someone goes for the FTS option. Regards, Bal |
