Portable mode on non-removable drive
 

It says for v4.1

"Support portable mode when run from non-removable drive (create an empty text file named UltraRecall.ini in the path of UltraRecall.exe and restart UR).+"

My question is what is the advantage or difference in using it this way?

Is it just to keep out of the registry?
