Simple derived template question
 

After reading the helpfile I created a Derived Template by navigating to the template section > Text Item then added a child item called TArticles. I added some custom attributes to this new item.

I was expecting to be able to choose this template in any other item. I'm not able to do this; only the default template items are available.

Anything I've missed?

The derived template must be a child of the Templates item (not a child of another template). Drag it onto the Templates item to move it there.

+ note that you won't be able to change ANY item to your template, only those templates derived from the core text template themselves, see
