Multi-platform builds
 

Can Visual Build Pro be used to automate multi-platform builds, or is it strictly an MS tool? I need to automate builds on Windows and Linux.

Is there any approach to use Visual Build or just the *.bld scripts in an Unix/Linux environment?

No, Visual Build is Windows-only. You can invoke non-Visual Build scripts on a remote Linux/Unix box from VBP builds, but that's about it.
