Reply to Kevina re: Alternate Layout Bug
Using Version 1.2, on Windows XP (SP2).
I noticed that the bug usually crops up when Alternate Layout is active.
But if you cannot reproduce the bug, then perhaps the cause of the problem is...

Solution: Mark, Gather, Hoist
Created new category called merely, "Hoist". Then dragged logical links of specific items requiring focus, to the Hoist category.

Forcing Bug to Appear
Found a way to force the Alternate Layout bug to reappear:
Make changes to toolbar, create new toolbar group and add buttons to it.
Alternate Layout button results in the afore-mentioned error...

Interim Solution to Alternate Layout Bug
I highly recommend regularly exporting a copy of HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Kinook Software to a .REG file for backup purposes.
