Next Major Release?
I'm looking at purchasing a UR Professional license in the near future but am curious as to whether there are any plans for a major release in the coming months.
I only ask as I was burnt once before on a software purchase when a new version was released a few months later and the vendor forced me to pay an upgrade fee despite falling outside their 'grace period' by little more than a month. Bear in mind that they were only releasing new major versions every couple of years so I felt like a victim of bad timing!
Given UR v2.0 came out May 2006 and v3.0 was released March 2007, I'm wondering if v4.0 is in the wings and I'm better off waiting a couple of months before pulling the purchasing trigger?
