I don't know if I understood ...
you can insert table inside item, there is a button for it. You can directly drag an item into those cells which will create internal link (or copy/paste).
You can also create external links that will point to a given item. I don't know if this is the most effective way, but this seems to work:
assuming you have your database open, open another UR database, drag drop from one database to another - this will create absolute link to that item, right click on that link, hyperlink properties, and copy url. You can then place this url to excel.
if you always work only with one UR file, you can just drag drop the item within the same database and copy that url, however the link will not work if you click on that link from excel and your active UR database is another than the one from which the link originated.
As I said, I'm not sure this is the best advice, maybe someone can correct me ...
