Perhaps so. I will test it on another Vista machine with a totallly different graphics card.
The reason I raised this is because you and $bill had initially speculated that the video driver was the problem when I identified a display problem with the calendar pane. This was fixed in 3.5.4.7, so it was not a driver issue. I wonder if this is a related matter.
