I'd like to section this motion
It's a REALLY good idea.
I've been working with tree-structured data (Treepad), for a long, long time and it was always a big problem. Treepad has tools for generating trees of calendars, for example, which was pretty nice for project management, but the content was inevitably sparse, and consequently very difficult to locate.
