Building of Document! X projects is integrated with Visual Studio -- building a solution containing Document! X projects will also build the documentation projects (Visual Studio solutions can be included in a build via the Make VS.NET/2005/2008 actions). Document! X doesn't provide a way to automate building outside of Visual Studio.
