The favorites toolbar just provides the item icon. What would be really helpful is if it included the item name (even if abbreviated), or if we could customize how the toolbar showed. I recognize that floating the cursor over the icon shows the name after a delay, but that's cumbersome. In the ideal world, these favorites would also work as bookmarks/hoists, such that if we dragged and dropped an item on it, a link would be created (options menu, if necessary). In this sense, the favorites in the toolbar would act like open tabs that activated when one floated over them with a dragged item (my earlier wish).
