One possibility: If UR takes more than 2 seconds to start and load (possible if other apps are hogging the CPU at startup), the minimize option will be ignored (so that UR can be restored from the tray after 2 seconds). You can increase this value to 10 seconds by extracting and double-clicking the attached reg file and restarting UR.
