Format | Move Up / Down causes access violation

The option to move text in editor up/down causing access violation errors if no text is highlighted.

This is understandable, but there is probably friendlier ways to communicate the need to highlight text than throwing an AV error.

On another note, please ...

I have a use case where there are sometimes a need to sort content by category. I have to drag text into the appropriate tree item. Is there a way to have the dragged text append to an existing item instead of creating a child. May be, by using a modifier key e.g. SHIFt, ALT, etc.

I know this is possible when copying to clipboard, but I could not find a way to alter the behavior of dragging to the tree.

Thanks

Yes, that error message could be prevented by disabling the move in that situation. We've logged a bug for it.

There isn't a way to append to an existing item when dragging.
