tab title - needs other user comments

Has had anyone had an experience in which you have several tabbed windows open & when you close one tab, the title of the closed tab jumps to the next focused tab, i.e.

Tab A = 'ABC' & contains info about the alphabet
Tab B = "XYZ" & contains info about zoo animals

Close Tab B
Tab A Title changes to "XYZ? but content remains info about the alphabet

On my PC this happens when more than 2 tabs r open but I can't give u steps to recreate but this has happened enumerable times.

I am a fast keyboarder so my moves are fast, when finished w one tab I quickly close it & jump to another tab.

Already reported is some other issue w quick situations whereby URp may not have had enough time to complete a task before another task (ex: an automated search) may take focus. So this may be related.

Has anyone else come across this tab false name situation?

Thanks

tab title does not reflect detail content

At this point I'm sorry to say I cannot provide a list of steps to actually recreate this situation. However it does happen.

General circumstances: user has a variety of tabs open, some which contain automated searches.

When user closes one tab & URp moves to the next tab, an error occurs but URp continues to function unlike earlier errors when URp would crash.

However, subsequent tab titles do not reflect detail data.

I will add details to this thread as/when this occurs again.

Quant, does this occur under similar circumstances that I reported, i.e. an incomplete automated task that generates and error? Can u offer any more clues?

I have no idea what lead to the problem ... I'd describe it had I known. When it happened (2 or 3 times), I had no time to play with UR ...

This error occurred again this morning & I believe the following was my sequence.

Already open is an automated search w several layers of search criteria

create a new item
give it a few automated attributes, i.e. begin date, begin time, recurring, etc.

link that item to another item

close new item.

URp should now focus on automated search. This is when error occurred here.

I performed those steps (it wasn't clear where multiple tabs were involved, so I opened a new tab before 'create a new item') but could not reproduce an error or incorrect tab title.

At least one other tab is already open as described in my post, i.e. an automated search.

Once you create a new item you have multiple tabs

I have Jan's tab ghost too....

My case, this was a first time I noticed this:

3 tabs open. Tab#1 at the root, #2 and #3 were hoisted.

In tab #1, I right clicked on the recycle bin and emptied it.
I was about to select tab #2 when I note that it now was labeled recycle bin also (should have been hoisted Active GTD).

Clicking on tab #2 labeled "Recycle Bin" Strangely, I found the selected (bold, highlighted) item in the Data Explore was the Template/Document.

Tab #3 was on the proper item, tab was correctly labeled.

UR seemed to function normally afterward.

UltraRecall.exe version 3.2.6.2 (just upgraded from 3.2.5 a few hours ago)
