Long flag menu is a UI pain, please make it optional
Hi ...
I was surprised today in v6.3.0.2 to see that the flag menu has grown so big filling almost entire vertical screen line and sometimes stutters opening. I had never had any need for 32 flags. I do not even know why such a UI change was even necessary. Please, is there a way to disable this long menu or delete these extra flags and just return it to its original length of 7 flags. Or maybe make addition flag show in a slide-out sub-menu. One other option is to allow users to add their own flags and grow the menu accordingly. Seriously, the current implementation is a UI design flaw. I'm going to downgrade back to 6.3.0.1. Thank you |

It was a feature request. It's not possible to make the amount dynamic while also allow configuring keyboard shortcuts for them.
The right-click Flag menu still shows the same as before (no additional flags). Which Flag menu are you using (Ctrl+Shift+M or Item | Flags)? I agree that 32 seems excessive, but that was the request. But I think I will reduce the # shown in the other menus. |

In v6.3.0.3, I reduced the # shown in the Item | Flag menu to 20 and Ctrl+Shift+M menu to 12.
Again, the right-click Flag menu (and tear-off toolbar) didn't change and still shows the original 7. |

Yes, I was referring to ctrl/alt/m menu.
I'm sure, some workflows required 32 flags or even more, I thought that menu was just too intrusive being this long. Looks more manageable now at 12. I appreciate the quick response. |
