Is there anyway to "pin' the output pane?
Visual Build has always been very difficult to use when running and build and trying to view whats happening.
The updating of the step rudely rips focus away from the output pane, if you were viewing that. Is there a way to pin that view? If not I would suggest that you add a better way to view the build while its in process. Your competiton, FinalBuilder is much better in this area. They have a separate side tab where you can view the progress of the build in great detail. thanks |

'Tools | User Options | Build | Activate step pane for current step during build'. Also, it appears that the GUI App does (incorrectly) focus the step pane on build completion. We'll fix that and add an option for whether the failed step gets selected/activated on build failure.

Thanks, that seems to solve the primary issue.
For a future version, I would urge you to look at rethinking the build view. |
