Bug. (I think)
I have configured UR to use Word 2007 as the text editor and viewer for text documents.
Now when a text (.rtf) document is created within UR or if a Word doc is created (via a word template) within UR, none of the text is indexed. None of the content is listed in the keyword list nor does the keyword count reflect the number of words in the document. However, if I import a word document, UR indexes the contents with no problem. I recently upgraded to UR 3.02. I am running UR on a micro laptop with a 1.2 GHz proc and 1 GB RAM. Windows XP fully patched I am going to go back to the default configuration until this is fixed. If only UR could handle simple outlining in the inbuilt editor I would not have to jump through the hoops to use Word internally. Help! Sean |

Text and stored Word document items when edited via Word 2007 inside UR are keyworded properly here on Win XP SP2. Please ZIP and send or post:
1) The info from Help | About | Install Info 2) Run RegEdit and export the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Kinook Software\Ultra Recall\Options" 3) A .urd file with items that demonstrate the problem Thanks. |

This was fixed by a remove and reinstall of UR.
