shortcut to tree
Kinook, it doesn't seem possible to paste a shortcut into the tree.
I had occasion to search for a contact. My contact names are also items. I copied item & went to my GTD folder & wanted to create a task item like "call <shortcut to name> tomorrow" which would jump me directly to contact form. That didn't work. i know I can paste the shortcut in text area or note which will jump me but I can't figure out why this carry over to the the tree. Isn't this possible? |

You can't create an internal link to an item as part of the title of another item, if that's what you mean. You could either logically link the contact as a child of the task or create an internal link to the contact within the task's form detail area (see attached screen shot).
