very basic request
The Data Explorer Pane doesn't differentiate between Items that are 'empty' (Item Details is empty) and Items that have content (Item Details contains some text, or pictures, etc.)
The only way to check if an Item has content is to click on it in the Explorer Pane and look into the Item Details tab for any content. It would be much more practical if one could know which Items contain data just by looking in the Data Explorer: the Icon could be a different color or contain some sort of 'mark' to tell that by clicking on that Item there will be some text or data showing in the Item Details Pane. It's a basic request, but one that would make a great difference: often I miss information because I ignore that there is any content in some Items... or I waste more time than necessary to navigate and show the notes that I know I put in 'one of those items there...' I hope my point was expressed clearly enough, English is not my mother tongue. Thank you, Giovanni |

I'd like to section this motion
It's a REALLY good idea.
I've been working with tree-structured data (Treepad), for a long, long time and it was always a big problem. Treepad has tools for generating trees of calendars, for example, which was pretty nice for project management, but the content was inevitably sparse, and consequently very difficult to locate. |

Yes, that's exactly what I meant.
Making things easier to locate at a glance. |

For the beginning, it would be nice if at least we could create a search "Item text EXISTS", just like we can with "Item notes" ...

numberjay, I know this is not exactly what you wanted, but it's one way to find all items with "data". |
