URP3 and Google Desktop
Hi,
I use URP3 to store most of my ongoing content. But sometimes not, and also not always in a single URP3 file. Until URP3 is capable of cross-database search, I have to go individually, database by database to find the item I want - especially if it's been awhile since I've looked for a specific set of data. Google Desktop enables me to search my local drives, but it doesn't have a way of making sense of .urd files and so omits them from its indexing (as near as I can tell). I figure I can't be the only one facing this difficulty. Has anyone found a solution? Thanks. Regards, Bal |

For now, it's probably best to minimize the number of separate databases used. You can use hoisting to restrict the tree to the part you're working on at a given time.
