How do disable the "Extract with VBP" right-click option in explorer?
After installing VBP 7, I noticed when I right-click on .rar files in windows explorer, there is an item "Extract with Visual Build Pro".
Is there a (clean) way to delete that? I prefer WinRar to handle my rar files, but besides, this option interferes with the "rightclick+E" shortcut that I now doesn't work anymore. |

Start RegEdit and navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.rar, note the (Default) value, then navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\<.rar default value>\shell and delete the Extract with Visual Build Pro subkey.

Thanks, I actually considered that the 'less clean' way, but it works wonders
Just a suggestion, you may want to make this feature optional in the installer. |

The v7 download has been updated with an Add Explorer context menus for third party tools option on the Additional Tasks page, which if unchecked, will not add Explorer context menus for third party tool file extensions. You will need to uninstall, then download and reinstall to remove any existing menus.
