Insert Child / Sibling menu empty

When I right click on any item, and try to Insert Child or Sibling, both show only a greyed menu with a single item entitled "[Insert Template]". I'm using Utra Recall Professional 3.5e. I used to be able to access the templates via this right click.

My templates are all intact and I only have the unmodified defaults. Tools - Compact & Repair - Repair database - Reset does not restore the right click menus.

If I use the shortcut Alt Insert or Shift Alt Insert, the correct sub-menu is available (but this does not solve the right click problem).

If I use the toolbar command Tree Insert Child or Sibling, both menus are present and I can tear it off.

I think this behaviour started after I ran Ultra Recall VIEWER.exe ( v3.5e) - I want to understand what is avialable to other users if they only have the viewer.

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling UR Professional but no joy. I've tried several databases including a new one.

Can anyone offer any suggestions please?
