filtered related pane views
I create many items that go into folders and thus show up as children when I click the folder and view the children pane. And that's wonderful, but it could be better.
What I suggest is this: let me have a attribute called Filter. Make it a toggle, yes or no. If yes, then the item appears in a filtered view (see below). If no, then the item does not show up in the filtered view. Have a toolbar item that lets me toggle whether UPR4 presents a filtered or unfiltered view of my data. With a toggle, I can see only the items that should show up in the filtered view. Toggle again and I see all my data. Combining this with templates, I could create items that are, by default, viewable in the filter or not, and changeable at my option. - Bal |
